This authentic vintage window card promotes the 1978 Off-Broadway production of Jay Broad's drama White Pelicans at Greenwich Village's Theatre de Lys. Directed by author Jay Broad, this two-character play starred Academy Award winner José Ferrer as Harry alongside Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman as Winston. Produced by José Ferrer as part of the ANTA Matinee Series, the existential drama explored two men isolated in a harsh arctic wilderness. Printed on heavy cardstock in the standard 14x22-inch display format, this collectible theatrical artifact captures an early-career Off-Broadway stage pairing of two legendary American actors. Tailored for Morgan Freeman enthusiasts, José Ferrer archivists, and vintage Off-Broadway promotional art collectors, this original display poster offers a rare piece of late 1970s New York stage history.
