Norman Krasna’s gripping psychological mystery thriller farce 'We Interrupt This Program...' completed a celebrated original Broadway premiere run at the Ambassador Theatre in 1975, running for an accomplished commercial residency. The innovative, real-time farcical plot turns the entire auditorium into a high-stakes hostage crisis arena, tracking an unprincipled circle of thieves who hijack a Broadway performance in mid-show to execute an intricate federal blackmail swindle swindle, directed with precise comedic timing by Jerry Adler.
