James Van Heusen, Sammy Cahn, Roger O. Hirson, and Ketti Frings’s 'Walking Happy' arrived at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in 1966, running for an astonishing 161 performances and capturing multiple major Tony nominations. Based on Harold Brighouse’s classic play *Hobson's Choice*, the brassy musical comedy unfolds in Victorian England, tracking an independent woman who transforms a meek bootmaker into a successful merchant. This exceptionally rare promotional printing layout variant captures the scarce preliminary cast configuration used prior to final choices.
