Frank Loesser’s sweeping near through-sung musical masterpiece 'The Most Happy Fella' received a spectacular, multi-Tony nominated grand-scale Broadway flagship revival presentation at the Vivian Beaumont Theater in 1992 under the banner of Lincoln Center Theater. Re-engineering Sidney Howard’s play *They Knew What They Wanted* into an emotionally massive symphonic pop opera diptych format to follow a Napa Valley romance, the production deployed windowcard artwork illustrated by James McMullan.
