Set inside a provincial French-Canadian village in the 1920s, the heart-filled musical comedy follows Jacques Bonnard, a flamboyant, world-traveling international photographer who returns to his eccentric hometown, launching a romantic disruption when he attempts to induct his impressionable teenage nephew into his care-free bohemian lifestyle. Directed and choreographed with cinematic fluid precision by Gower Champion, the production starred Robert Goulet and David Wayne.
