Set in a provincial English theater during the dark, high-stakes bombardment of a World War II air raid, the claustrophobic narrative tracks the intense, codependent relationship between "Sir," an aging, severely unravelling Shakespearean actor-manager, and Norman, his fiercely protective, long-serving dresser who struggles to keep him sober to execute a performance of *King Lear*. Directed by Michael Elliott, the production starred Paul Rogers and Tom Courtenay.
