Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty, and Terrence McNally’s epic musical masterpiece 'Ragtime' received a magnificent, critically acclaimed Broadway revival at the Neil Simon Theatre in 2009, running for an accomplished seasonal engagement following its hit tryout at the Kennedy Center. The sweeping historical narrative masterfully interweaves three distinct family trajectories—an affluent suburban white family, a determined Black jazz pianist, and a resilient Jewish immigrant family—as their lives collide with changing social tides in turn-of-the-century New York.
