James Kirkwood’s raucous counter-cultural comedic farce 'P.S. Your Cat Is Dead!' completed a celebrated original Broadway premiere at the Golden Theatre in 1975, running for an accomplished seasonal residency before transferring Off-Broadway for an extended run. The breathless farcical narrative unfolds entirely inside a cramped Greenwich Village loft apartment over a single chaotic New Year's Eve, tracking Jimmy Zoole, a broken, bankrupt actor whose life enters a farcical crisis when he captures an unprincipled cat burglar named Vito inside his room, binding him to a kitchen counter. Directed by Robert Moore.
