No Sex Please, We're British (1973)

Alistair Foot and Anthony Marriott’s smash British farcical comedy 'No Sex Please, We're British' completed a celebrated original Broadway premiere at the Ritz Theatre in 1973 after conquering London’s West End. The breathless drawing-room farce unfolds inside an elegant apartment located directly above a provincial bank office over a single chaotic afternoon, tracking a conservative newlywed bank cashier whose stable domestic life collapses into a frantic farcical panic when a mail-order delivery mistake causes a mountain of illegal material to flood his home, forcing him to dodge inspectors. It starred Tony Tanner.
