The fast-paced, patriotic plot follows the domestic lives, strategic public relation campaigns, and international diplomatic voyages of a charismatic U.S. President named President Henderson during the high-stakes heights of the Cold War. Directed by Joshua Logan with choreography by Peter Gennaro, the original production starred Robert Ryan and Nanette Fabray.
