Elton John, Bernie Taupin, and Linda Woolverton’s 'Lestat' arrived at the Palace Theatre in 2006, only running for a month, but capturing multiple major Tony Award nominations under the banner of Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures. Masterfully translating Anne Rice’s legendary, multi-platinum *Vampire Chronicles* gothic literary masterworks onto the stage, the sweeping, through-sung musical tragedy charts Lestat, a complex, torment-driven 18th-century French nobleman who is involuntarily thrust into immortal vampire existence, exploring themes of isolation and morality. Directed by Robert Jess Roth. Art by Dave McKean.
