Based on the celebrated novel and film *The World of Henry Orient*, the fast-paced plot centers on Henry Orient, an unctuous, avant-garde Manhattan avant-garde musician who has meticulously engineered a swinging bachelor lifestyle, collapsing into frantic panic when two wealthy, hyper-imaginative teenage schoolgirls develop an obsessive crush on him and systematically stalk his secret affairs. The production starred Don Ameche and a young Alice Playten.
