Hello Again

Michael John LaChiusa’s 'Hello Again' arrived Off-Broadway at the Lincoln Center Theater's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater in 1994, running for a successful, highly celebrated residency and capturing multiple award nominations. Conceived as a highly stylized, entirely through-sung musical adaptation of Arthur Schnitzler's controversial masterpiece *La Ronde*, the non-linear narrative charts ten separate, sexually fluid characters across ten distinct decades of the 20th century, weaving a fluid tapestry of clinical seductions and emotional isolations. Directed and choreographed by Graciela Daniele, the historic original cast featured Judy Blazer, Donna Murphy, John Dossett, and Malcolm Gets.
