The narrative follows Alex Owens, a fiercely determined young Pittsburgh steel mill welder who spends her nights executing athletic, provocative modern routines as a bar dancer, orchestrating a relentless campaign to secure a formal audition at the prestigious Shipley Academy of Dance. Directed and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo, the blockbuster tour starred Emily Padgett in a tour-de-force lead performance.
