Fresh off its historic six-Tony Award sweep on Broadway, Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s groundbreaking musical Company brought its revolutionary national tour to Denver’s Auditorium Theatre in 1971. Under Harold Prince's sharp direction with choreography by Michael Bennett, the show shattered traditional linear storytelling to explore the neuroses and charm of modern relationships. Denver audiences were treated to star power at its peak, led by Academy Award winner George Chakiris as the elusive bachelor Bobby and Broadway icon Elaine Stritch delivering her legendary, career-defining performance of "The Ladies Who Lunch."
