Choose options
The explosive international dance phenomenon 'Burn the Floor' invaded Broadway's Longacre Theatre in 2009, bringing a high-octane, hyper-kinetic, and visually spectacular rock-and-roll ballroom revolution to the New York stage. Directed and choreographed with breathtaking athletic precision by Jason Gilkison, the production entirely discarded traditional linear book formatting to turn the stage into an immersive arena where twenty world-champion ballroom dancers executed rapid-fire interpretations of the Cha-Cha, Tango, Paso Doble, and Jive, scored to a live percussion and vocal ensemble.
