Broadway Bares (2011)
Choose options
The historic 2011 edition of the annual charity extravaganza, 'Broadway Bares XXI: Masterpiece', filled the Roseland Ballroom with high-octane choreography and body-positive showmanship. Conceived by Jerry Mitchell to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the 2011 theme turned the history of fine art into a raucous, adult-themed burlesque parade, executing fully danced vignettes inspired by classical sculptures, renaissance paintings, and contemporary pop art. Uniting over 150 of New York's top stage performers, the production was directed by Josh Rhodes.
