The 18th annual edition of the legendary fundraising event, titled 'Broadway Bares XVIII: Wonderland,' turned the stage of the Roseland Ballroom into a deliciously adult, hyper-imaginative burlesque parody of classic children's fantasy literature. Conceived by Jerry Mitchell to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the high-octane revue tracks an adult Lewis Carroll allegory down the rabbit hole into an eccentric world of leather-clad Mad Hatters and body-painted Queens of Hearts. Directed by Denis Jones and featuring over 200 of Broadway's elite ensemble dancers executing synchronized choreography, the milestone production set record-breaking fundraising marks for the theater community.
