Broadway Bares (2002)
Choose options
The historic 2002 edition of the annual dance spectacular, titled 'Broadway Bares XII: A Comic Comic Strip,' completely colonized the Roseland Ballroom with high-octane choreography and stand-up humor to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Conceived by Jerry Mitchell and directed by a team of elite Broadway choreographers, the production used a witty, hyper-sensual satire of classic comedic archetypes and vintage joke books to score a series of explosive, synchronized burlesque numbers executed by the top stage performers in New York.
