Bounce (Sondheim)

Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman’s 'Bounce' exploded onto the American stage scene in its historic original world premiere out-of-town tryout engagement loop at Chicago's historic Goodman Theatre in 2003, subsequently transferring to Washington D.C.’s Kennedy Center. Conceived as a highly innovative, vaudeville-infused biographical musical comedy farce pastiche driven note-for-note by a brassy score, the rapid-fire narrative follows the eccentric exploits, real-estate land swindles, and gold rush calculations of the Mizner brothers.
