Jacobs Theatre in 2022, capturing the soulful, vinyl-fueled essence of 1973 rock and roll culture. The narrative follows William Miller, an idealistic fifteen-year-old aspiring rock journalist who is unexpectedly hired by Rolling Stone magazine to go on the road with the rising arena-rock band Stillwater, finding himself caught between his fierce journalistic integrity and his deep love for the band's charismatic guitarist and his enigmatic muse, Penny Lane.
