Joshua Harmon’s razor-sharp, satirical drama 'Admissions' takes an unflinching look at the hypocrisy of white privilege and institutional diversity within the landscape of American academia. Set inside the admissions office of a prestigious New England prep school, the narrative ignites when the school's fiercely progressive admissions director—who has spent years diversifying the student body—sees her own son rejected from Yale while his biracial best friend is accepted, triggering an explosion of exposed liberal anxieties and institutional self-interest. Directed by Daniel Aukin at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater, the production starred Jessica Hecht and Ben Edelman, featuring poster artwork by legendary illustrator James McMullan.
