Acting Company (1973, Patti LuPone Broadway debut) - repro

The landmark December 1973 repertory season of John Houseman’s The Acting Company at the Billy Rose Theatre marked the official Broadway debuts of a historic generation of American stage luminaries fresh out of Juilliard, including a young Patti LuPone, Kevin Kline, David Ogden Stiers, and Mary Lou Rosato. Performing an ambitious classical rotation that included Chekhov's The Three Sisters, John Gay's The Beggar's Opera, and Molière's The Scapin, this residency laid the foundation for the contemporary American classical theater movement.
