The historic original 1973 pre-Broadway out-of-town world premiere tryout engagement of Stephen Sondheim’s musical masterpiece 'A Little Night Music' launched its monumental developmental run at Boston's historic Emerson Colonial Theatre before conquering New York. Serving as the vital technical sandbox crucible where the creative team tested Harold Prince's drawing-room staging templates and Sondheim's melody-infused waltz orchestrations, this rare road printing records the initial cast alignments.
While the colors are bright, the yellow has bits of red in it and the yellow has bled into the blue background. The white paint of the moon also has flecked into the background. Quite disappointed at this sloppy reproduction.
