Arthur Miller’s very first Broadway play, 'The Man Who Had All the Luck,' received a spectacular, critically adored revival staging at the American Airlines Theatre in 2002 under the banner of the Roundabout Theatre Company, capturing multiple major award nominations. Conceived as a textually rich fable charting mid-century midwestern realism, the narrative tracks David Beeves, an ordinary young auto mechanic whose every business venture and relationship strategy miraculously succeeds, collapsing into a severe psychological crisis as he pathologically waits for a catastrophic stroke of bad luck to balance his fate. Directed by David Esbjornson, the production starred Chris O'Donnell.
